This brief was to create an innovative and inspiring window display for the visual merchandising competition within the 100% Optical exhibition in February 2015. My design response took inspiration from the eye itself, focusing on the beauty and complexity within. I have arranged the Interior of the shop-front to mirror the inside of an eye, featuring a semi-transparent graphical film print, detailing an eye. The design also showcases an actively pulsing LED tape nerve cell receptor glasses display. With its boldness and beauty, this design will aim to lure customers through natural curiosity. This design was chosen as a national winning finalist and it was then implemented for the 100% Optical exhibition in February 2015. I sourced all specialist materials required for the display, worked through complex technical and lighting issues and went on to hand build it ahead of the exhibition.
